Parts of the Great Fen are home to most of the widespread mammal species that occur across the UK such as foxes, badgers, rabbits, mice, voles and shrews. However, there are other mammals such as otters, water voles and Chinese water deer here that are specialists of wetland habitats.   

Most of these mammals are notoriously difficult to see because they are nocturnal. Take a look below at the different types of mammals you can find here while visiting.
