Other Opportunities

We are currently working with schools to develop an outreach programme which will bring the fascinating world of the Great Fen into the school environment. If you would be interested in an assembly or an outreach session please contact us to discuss this further.

For A-level or Degree level course we can offer an exciting day visit to discover the Great Fen first hand and meet some of the staff carrying out the restoration, monitoring and community work. A typical visit would include a presentation on the background and progress of the Great Fen Project at the Countryside Centre, Ramsey Heights. This would be followed by a site tour to see the various stages of restoration as well as the National Nature reserves at the heart of the project. There would be plenty of opportunity for students to ask questions and discuss topics of climate change, habitat restoration and hydrology.

If you would be interested in bringing a A-level or Degree course group to visit the Great Fen then please contact us directly to check availability and discuss your needs via info@greatfen.org.uk or 01487 815524.
