Health and Wellbeing 

The Great Fen provides a fun yet peaceful environment with outdoor activities to improve health and wellbeing both physically and mentally. Scientific studies suggest taking time to connect with nature has a positive impact with a persons health and wellbeing. This can include taking time to relax while exploring a nature reserve, bird watching, participating in events and clubs, going for a walk or meeting friendly, like-minded people who donate their spare time volunteering at the Fen.

Relax on a walk

Going for a walk is a fantastic way to relax and keep active. We offer many walks and trails which are packed with wildlife, plants and picturesque scenery.

Nature Connection Sessions

Nature connection sessions are about bringing nature to those who can't get out and about to access the countryside. Our team spend an hour talking with the group, encouraging people to talk about their memories of nature.
