The raptor count recorded a good range of species; barn owls and buzzards being the most common. We also picked up kestrel, marsh harrier, peregrine and six short-eared owls.

The recommended sites to watch out for raptors at the moment, are the area north of Holme Fen, and the west side of Woodwalton Fen at the west end of Masons Drove (please respect access restrictions).
