It was a relatively quiet night for bats, despite the favourable weather. Noctule was on the wing and as usual, common pipistrelle was the most numerous bats encountered. A range of species were recorded, including: barbastelle, common noctule, common pipistrelle, Daubenton's bat and soprano pipistrelle. Barn owl, tawny owl and woodcock were also heared.
