440 birds of 25 species

On a lovely bright frosty morning the majority of the birds were in a starling flock of 325 but the highlights were three roosting short-eared owls, two fly-over little egret, four grey partridge, two snipe and a stonechat. Just three skylark were recorded but there was a flock of at least 130 seen just outside the recording area. Full bird list as follows:
