The transect was completed in bright weather after a gloomy start. Highlights were singing Corn Bunting, Lapwing harassing a Red Kite over Stoke's Farm and a mid-morning Barn Owl.
Species included 1 Robin, 1 Chaffinch, 34 Starling, 17 Fieldfare, 23 Woodpigeon, 2 Pheasant, 2 Song Thrush, 2 Buzzard, 2 Red Kite, 45 Meadow Pipit, 21 Skylark, 24 Common Crow, 20 Mallard, 2 Canada Goose, 1 Short-eared Owl, 3 Wren, 3 Snipe, 1 Cormorant, 1 Corn Bunting, 1 Herring Gull, 4 Reed Bunting, 2 Blackbird, 2 Goldfinch, and 1 Barn Owl.
