The Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs and Northants has two opportunities for consultants to contribute to the Delivery stage of its National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Horizon project, Peatland Progress – A New Vision for the Fens.

Please note these are procurement opportunities not employment opportunities.

The Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire has two opportunities for consultants to contribute to the Delivery stage (2023 – 2027) of its National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Horizon project, Peatland Progress – A New Vision for the Fens.

  • External Evaluation Consultant

 

Great Fen Access Consultant

To scope and deliver an access audit of the Great Fen for the Delivery stage of its National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Horizon project Peatland Progress.  The purpose of this work will be to provide recommendations for existing public access parts of the Great Fen, and to provide advice on those areas that are currently under development. We also want the successful contractor to assess our existing on site and digital interpretation for physical and cognitive accessibility.

Timeline for consultancy: Contract advertised November/December 2023 and let January 2024 for delivery 1st February 2024 – 31st July 2024 (6-month contract period).

Closing date for applications: 5pm on Friday 29th December 2023

The contract delivery will be managed by Alison Chaves, Peatland Progress Communities and Education Officer WTBCN who will be the primary contact for questions relating to the contract, and from whom the procurement brief (containing full details) and supporting documentation may be obtained Alison.chaves@wildlifebcn.org.

 

External Evaluation Consultant

To support impact measurement for the Delivery stage of its National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Horizon project Peatland ProgressA New Vision for the Fens.  The purpose of this work will be to provide evaluation expertise and bring independence and capacity to the impact measurement process.

Timeline for consultancy: Contract advertised November/December 2023 and let January 2024 for delivery 1st February 2024 – 31st December 2027.

Closing date for applications: 5pm on Friday 29th December 2023
