38 moths of 9 species
A facinating morning at Ramsey Heights classroom, with 29 moths of 7 species. The highlight, a female Emperor moth. Other species included 3 Brindled Beauty, 2 Clouded Drab, 17 Common Quaker, 1 Early Grey, 2 Hebrew Character, and 3 Red Chestnut.
Woodwalton Fen National Nature Reserve produced 7 moths of 5 species. Species recorded were 1 Brindled Beauty, 1 Clouded Drab, 1 Early Thorn, 3 Hebrew Character, and 1 March Moth.
