405 birds of 26 species
A lovely spring like morning with many birds singing and displaying. The highlights were 20 Corn Bunting, 70 Fieldfare and a singing Chiffchaff in a tiny plantation. A very good morning for birds of prey, with 4 Red Kite, 4 Buzzard and 2 Kestrel, and more Buzzards and a Marsh Harrier in the distance over Woodwalton Fen NNR.
Other species included 2 Blue Tit, 8 Carrion Crow, 1 Chaffinch, 2 Grey Partridge, 3 Jackdaw, 2 Linnet, 6 Magpie, 6 Mallard, 3 Mute Swan, 54 Meadow Pipit, 2 Pheasant, 9 Pied Wagtail, 32 Reed Bunting, 1 Robin, 40 Skylark, 126 Starling, 1 Stock Dove, 1 Stonechat, 9 Woodpigeon, and 5 Wren.
