Would you like to become more involved with the Great Fen Project. Whether it's getting your hands dirty restoring fenland, monitoring rare species or remaining in the warm and dry aiding the campaign, the Great Fen Project would be grateful of any help you can offer.
Below are some volunteering opportunities that may appeal to you:
- Lead interpretive walks in Woodwalton Fen
- Assist with campaign work in the Wildlife Trust’s Cambourne office
- Administer wildlife surveys at Woodwalton and Holme fens
- Help with land restoration work
- Stuff mailings in the Wildlife Trust’s Cambourne office
- Photograph events or wildlife in the Great Fen
- Assist at donor events or educational events
- Help staff public information events (such as Birdfair)
- Increase our support base by sharing your next newsletter with a friend
- Write a letter to the editor about the Great Fen Project and why people should support it
- Talk to your local MPs and encourage them to visit the Great Fen and support it
If you are interested in any of the above tasks, please call Tanya Mercer or Kelly Dickson at 01954 713500 or email info@greatfen.org.uk.
