The Great Fen offers a wide range of services for communities.
We work with a wide range of schools and groups, with activities including shelter-building and bushcraft skills for youth groups, and memory box and reminiscence visits for older people.
This work has included film, photo and audio projects, including an 'oral history project' to record local people's stories of growing up in the fens.
We run visits for all ages and abilities, and offer sensory experiences, wildlife and history walks and much more:
Please do get in touch with the Great Fen if you would like to find out more or arrange a visit with us.
When staff and volunteers are on site, the Wildlife Trust Countryside Centre is available to hire for a donation.
Tea, coffee and biscuits can be provided. A powerpoint projector, projector stand and flipcharts and pens are also available.
The centre also provides a good base from which to explore Woodwalton Fen with your group.
Please do get in touch with the Great Fen to find out more information and to book.
