A fairly still, cloudy day and generally quiet with no flocks or early seasonal arrivals.

There was, however, a pair of stonechat in a favoured area near Railway Covert. A good number of skylark were still singing in the fields. You can birdwatch at New Decoy using the car park or the hide.
