Events, schools and community support

There are lots of opportunities to help out at the Wildlife Trust Countryside Centre and in the local community:

• Come along and help out with family and community events. These occur all year round and are a great way to encourage people to get involved and enjoy the great outdoors! 

• Supporting the team at local fetes and festivals across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to help promote the Great Fen.

• Supporting the team with school visits which are designed to encourage young people to get out in to the natural environment and learn about wildlife, habitats and also actions that they can take to help encourage wildlife on their doorstep.

And then there's helping with Wildlife Watch.
