Pathfinder walk to raise money for The Great Fen

On the 23rd June 2012 Andrew Cuthbert will be doing his second 46-mile Pathfinder March in order to raise money for the Great Fen. The course goes round the 4 airbases of the WWII Pathfinder force in Cambridgeshire and must be completed in 20 hours. Last year I completed it in 14 hours and 50 minutes - can I better that this year?

All monies raised will go to the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire (registered charity no. 1000412) and then onto the The Great Fen. In particular I'd like to raise money for information boards for their new bird hides, which are needed to help the public identify the birds they've seen.

Andrew is one of our regular volunteers here at the Great Fen and is a member of The Great Fen Local Group. He has been involved in lots of practical conservation work and also helped run guided walks.
